So, it’s no wonder that one of the most iconic love stories of all time was filmed here. Primarily shot in the Charleston area, the film adaptation of the best-selling novel “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks follows two young lovers, Allie and Noah, in the fictional town of Seabrook, South Carolina, in the 1940s.
