Brickyard Plantation is located about 11 miles North of downtown Charleston and is one of the most sought after Mt. Pleasant neighborhoods. It is bordered by Boone Hall Plantation and Horlbeck Creek and sits on roughly 513 acres. About 100 of those acres are protected lakes, forests and wetlands. In the early 1800s, Boone Hall used the land where Brickyard Plantation now resides as their brickyard….Hence, the name.
