Annual Events Enjoyed by Charleston Residents
Charleston is appealing for many reasons. One reason is the number of annual cultural events and fairs that you'll find here. It seemed like every month there's always something fun to do. So if you've been looking for Charleston real estate, just know that there is something here for every season.
Charleston's Enlightening Annual Events
One of the perks of owning a home in Charleston is the number of activities hosted in the area. For example, there's the 17 day performing arts festival known as Spoleto Festival USA. The springtime event features artists and performers of national and international renown. Also in the spring, there's the annual Cooper River Bridge Run. This 10-kilometer event across the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Rridge brings local, state, national and international runners every last Saturday in March. Summer brings a series of Fourth of July firework events and in the autumn there's the Annual Fall Tours of Homes & Gardens. In the winter, there are the Christmas in Charleston, Holiday Festival of Lights (at James Island County Park) and the Lowcountry Oyster Festival, which people have enjoyed for over 30 years. Of course, these are just a few of the annual events that await you when you live in Charleston.
