Top 7 things to remember while applying for your mortgage!
1. Don’t apply for, or open, any new credit cards, increase credit limits, or apply for any other loans. Don’t respond to free offers for credit or department store discounts.
2. ANY activity on your credit (even minor) will need to be explained and documented and may affect your loan approval.
3. All deposits into your bank accounts (other than payroll) are questioned during the process and will need to be documented. Call us for assistance if you have already made a deposit.
4. Continue to pay your bills on time throughout the mortgage process.
5. Notify us if anything changes with your income/employment, assets or credit situation so we can assist and guide you.
