When I walked into this home, I immediately felt the pride of ownership and really enjoyed learning all about the home. I've added info below on the thought that went into this home. There is a neighborhood dock a minute from this home, be sure to take a look. You are only 3 miles from the ocean, which means close enough to enjoy it without the hassle of flooding. There were no flooding issues at all during the last several storms including the 1000 year flood. The property is just over 5 acres and there is a second homesite behind the main house in case you would like to build a shop or a guest house. The neighborhood and home are safewith a whole home security system and a camera system at the front of the neighborhood to prevent any unwanted guests. The current owners have not left items for you to fix. The HVAC systems are new as of 2017 and 2018. The water heater was installed in 2018 and has an 11 year warranty. And, the roof was just replace (not because it was leaking, but it was time) in February of 2019. The owners built this home and have put a lot of love and thought into the construction. Here are some of the items that really stood out for me: The over engineered foundational walls to help withstand hurricane force winds. 2x6 constructions in the walls to allow for added insulation (cost saving and sound prevention). There is foam insulation in the roof as well as under the home (the utility bills are generally under $100 per month). The air handler is in the conditioned space instead of under the home or in the attic (This allows the unit to run more efficiently and potentially last longer. Not to mention it is easy to access). They even went as far as to recess the refrigerator so a standard size fridge would fit and added a vent fan to prevent the fridge from overheating (I don't believe I have ever seen this feature before. Love it!) If the power went out for some reason, there is a generator (that will convey with the property) that is directly wired into the home and could run just about the entire home. If you were to run out of fuel for the generator, then there is a wood burning stove that can heat the entire home and be used to cook on. There three wells and a hand pump so even without power water is accessible. The owners have really thought of just about everything.
